This new feature makes it possible to send e-mail messages from your own mail server and therefore also from your own e-mail address as sender. To do this, you register authentication data for sending messages (SMTP) from your mail server in Formdesk.

Do you want the e-mail messages that you have set up in Formdesk to be sent from your (company) e-mail address? In that case, it was already possible to indicate within the so-called SPF record that the Formdesk domain is authorized. With the support of SMTP, an option has been added because the messages are then sent via your own mail server.
This means that from now on you can even send Formdesk e-mails from your hotmail.com or gmail.com e-mail address.
Zivver
This also means that you can send Formdesk e-mail messages via a platform such as Zivver for secure communication.
